The Soo Locks Visitors Center Association (SLVCA) formed in 2003 to take an active role in planning for the Soo Locks 150th celebration. We continue to help with ongoing improvements to exhibits and programs at the Soo Locks Visitors Center.

Members and leaders in the organization come from all over the country as well as the local community, contributing both money and volunteer time to support their efforts to constantly improve visitor experiences at the Soo Locks.

As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we work in cooperation with the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the City of Sault Ste. Marie, and other local organizations to support the Visitors Center and produce related programming.
